Dr. Granda has retired from St. Thomas after 40 years of service.
Dr. Granda received his B.A. from the University of Delaware and his M.D. at Jefferson Medical College. He interned in Nashville at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine where he also completed his Residency and his Fellowship in Gastroenterology. He is licensed by the State of Tennessee, certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, by the American Board of Gastroenterology. He has numerous medical publications to his credit and has given countless clinical presentations covering various topics in Gastroenterology. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt School of Medicine, an attending physician at St. Thomas Hospital, a past chairman of the Department of Gastroenterology at St. Thomas Hospital and is the medical director for the AmSurg Endoscopy Clinic. Dr. Granda is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr Granda is a Designated United Health “Premium Care” Physician based on 70 Quality Measures and is also a Cigna Healthcare Tier 1 Provider.
